TEDOM Engine at 12th Czech Raildays Exhibition

Company TEDOM a.s., Engine division presented its railway engine of TRAIN series at international trade fair of the railway technology, products and services for the rail and city transport Czech Raildays 2011. The trade fair took place from 14.6. to 16.6. 2011 in Ostrava´s cargo premises of railway station Ostrava hl.n.. Business partners and visitors of our exposition could see the latest TEDOM railway engine meeting emission standards UIC III.B. Engines of Mercedes-Benz and Caterpillar production were displayed in Ostrava as well. 

TEDOM Engines in a Locomotive Powered by CNG

At Czech Raildays 2011 trade fair in Ostrava, visitors could also see a locomotive of 714 series powered by CNG which has been rebuilt in Vitkovice Doprava, a.s. This locomotive is used for shunting services and moving passenger trains. Two engines of CITY 250 series with the output of 260kW that were manufactured in our Engine division in Jablonec nad Nisou, have been used as a power unit.
